4 stars For fans of Keith Emerson or those interested in the development of progressive rock, this wonderful collection is manna. Though about half the cuts are available elsewhere, if you don't own each Nice record this will do well as a document of their more important songs, as well as the appreciation this band was shown when they played live. Even better is the addition of obscure alternates, long versions and live tracks. When one considers the indispensability of The Nice to prog, the moments this classy CD provides are brilliant and eye-opening.
