Review by Chris H
PROG REVIEWER
2 stars Well I knew there would come a day when this sort of thing would be released, as every artist has their studio albums re-released as a package. This is a very dated idea, yet it still happens to sell every single time! This time it is Syd Barrett's "The Madcap Laughs" and "Barrett". I am not going to review the tracks here, as all of that jazz is reviewed in the respective album's page. However, I will add that putting in the bonus tracks were a very nice touch, as they gave people a little more inscentive to buy this set. Aside from the 6 minute version of "No Good Trying" that material isn't anything to kill for, but any early Floyd/Barrett/psychedelia collector will find this to be something they should buy.

For collectors only, otherwise just buy the two studio albums seperately!
