4 stars The last, at least to date, oficially released LOS JAIVAS live album with Eduardo 'Gato' Alquinta.

Old and new songs are played. Instrumental epic ''Tarka y Ocarina'' and one of the most beautiful LOS JAIVAS songs, ''Canción del Sur'' will please prog fans. There are also nice folkier ''Indio Hermano'' and instrumental ''Takirari del Puerto'', catchy ''Valparaíso'' (originally played with friends on 1997 ''Trilogía: El Reencuentro'' album).

The version of ''Hijos de la Tierra'' on this album is probably the best I ever heard. Even six-minute long presentation of musicians is interesting, it contains solos of all musicians.

My least favourite track is ''Todos Americanos'' a year later appeared on studio album ''Arrebol''. It seems too repetative to me.

One thing I can't understand: why only short fragment of ''Mamalluca'', epic song from the same-name album, is included in this live CD? I don't think the band invited choir and orchestra for less than 4 minutes only.

The concert represents well different sides of LOS JAIVAS music. Sound quality is high. I only wish the album to be longer. The show was filmed, you can find most (if not all) its songs on YouTube. I hope sooner or later video version will be published.

Like ''Alturas de Machu Picchu en Concierto'' this album was printed in limited number of copies and it's not easy to find it. If you like LOS JAIVAS I highly recommend this live record.
