3 stars Ashent is an Italian progressive metal band formed in 2002 by brothers Gianpaolo bass and Onofrio Falanga guitar. They released so far 3 albums, their second offer Deconstructive I guess is the most intresting from the 3, at least for me, even is far from excellent. I do not like in particular so called Circus Maximus clones, that girlie sweet voice is not really for me, and the arrangements are only ok, nothing more. Short pieces all 12 pieces are under 5 min minus one who has little over 6 min, but the progressive metal is all there, but simply I'm not so atached by the passages. All in all decent and totaly unintresting for me, but not bad, 3 stars with indulgence.
