Review by Tarcisio Moura
PROG REVIEWER
4 stars Excellent compilation of tunes from this little known band from the USA. Their mix of heavy metal riffs, melodic rock and prog rock is quite appealing and charming. Their music is too varied to pigeonhole it but the constant factors are their excellent musicianship, the tasteful arrangements and the strong songwriting. And above it all, Michelle LooseŽs vocals. She has a great voice and a strong interpretation of the songs. I wish more bands would be as careful about their singers as this one.

I guess the CD has too many variations to mention some highlight. I heard it for the first time from beginning to end without any feel of skipping a single track. None are bad, even if some are better than others depending on the listenerŽs tastes. Production is top notch and the band playing is just flawless. IŽll keep an eye on this band. Very promising. It took me quite a long time to get the CD, but it was well worth the wait.

Conclusion: a nice surprise! If you like melodic rock with some heavy guitars to spice it up, a brilliant female singer and an almost perfect delivering from all involved, this is for you. Although there is not too many explicit progressive moments on the record, other than some keyboards and violin lines here and there, I will rate it four stars for its sheer quality.
