3 stars Divine Regale is an kinda forgotten progressive metal band from USA with only one album released in 1997 named Ocean mind released at Metal Blade. This album is pretty much ok, with nice arrangements that goes very well here, the band show mature and discipline in songwriting an they are more inclined on compositions then on technical approach, the voice is one on one with Geoff Tate, and even the music is similar with Queensryce, Mercury Rising or Veni Domine (but without that epic feel). A good album that worth to be heared if you are in this kinda music , but don't expect to something spectacular, only good pieces that are well crafted. 3 stars, a good album who was one of the best in prog metal in 1997, but in the end doesn't manage to make any ripples in prog metal circles. They disbanded a couple of years after the release of the album.
