3 stars Third album of Section A, named Sacrifice issued in 2010 at LionMusic is little of a letdown from previous works, why because here the band sounds like a heavy/power metal band the progressive metal elements are left aside almost entirely. The band contucted by danish guitarist Torben Enevoldsen helped by some talented musicians , some of them being part of the band on previous albums, this time Section A sounds like a typical metal band without having anything intresting ore inventive to offer here, maybe the only progressive metal pice and the longest is Land Of The Desert Sun, clocking arounf six and half minutes this is the best they've got from this album. Short pieces is all about here, not developed enough in arrangements to fully capture my intrest, while not bad overall , are far from being catchy or original. I prefer their previous 2 albums who are far more intresting and far more progressive metal then this Sacrifice. This kind of metal I was listning when I was 15 years, not it seams to me little boring and very dull in places. Still, 3 stars for this album, hardly essential or intresting, fans of prog metal must purchase this release with caution because is more towards heavy /power metal. No lenghy tracks anymore or elaborated passages as on first and second album.
