3 stars Brazilian music legend Hermeto Pascoal's album from early 90-s is extremely eclectic one. You will find there Latin folk, sambas, vintage electric piano -led Latin fusion melodies and even "singing" of Brazilian President Fernando Collor de Mello ( he resigned at the year of album's release after just two years of Presidentship).

Bigger part of songs is written by Pascoal himself, and on the album's cover he names it "universal music". In reality it means fusion of post-bop, some self-made percussion drumming, brass, Brazilian carnival and free-jazz in very optimistic and a bit chaotic manner. The only component you will hardly find there is any form of rock.

Interesting in a few moments, in whole this album is very unfocused and sounds more as collection of musical pieces of different genres and quality. Release for world fusion mixed with free-jazz fans. Sounds quite dated today.
