3 stars Before listening this album, you should understand that before making magnum opus "Kuře v hodinkách", Flamengo spent five years of playing less "revolutionary" music, including covers of foreign songs. The band also changed lineup a lot.

Well, this album is quite strange. It's formed by three parts. Singles from solo career of one of their singers (Petr Novák), then some cover songs (Summertime) and last part is made of few songs from "Kuře".

It's as good as their original versions are. There's not so much new things. Petr Novák is great Pop artist with certain Prog leanings, but he won't succeed in grinding (aggressive) wheels of Prog machinery, so from Prog point of view, it isn't so good. It's quite original and atypical. Yeah, I like this word. It describes our music quite well.

I like these songs though, if it means something.

Then some covers which won't (and cannot) surprise and here we are, singles (about five of them, however Kuře v hodinkách is different from album version) which are the best about this album.

But there is however. Most of these songs has been covered on re-release of "Kuře v hodinkách", it's this one (it's on studio album page) /// CD Wydawnictwo 21 (2000) with 7 bonus tracks (in track listing) ///

This makes this compilation quite irrelevant, except you are interested in covers and Petr Novák's solo work. Some fans will be, but if I want Petr Novák, I buy his solo stuff.

3(-), which doesn't mean it's bad, just redundant.
