4 stars Second and last to time (2010) this Polish avant chamber prog band's album is a bit different from their debut.

Three first compositions are very serious chamber/neo-classic pieces, almost without any traces of rock, jazz or avant. So it's no strange that listener could feel a bit ... disappointed there. Don't worry - it's just a beginning!

" Snowboarding Alchemysta " is great very jazzy piece, with complex drumming and slight chamber feeling in nuances. " Heart Of Gold" is melancholic soulful down tempo melody with flute soloing, and it sounds as soundtrack of some movie from late 60-s.

"Tax Collector" is short piece of dissonant piano sounds, and soon it changes to melodic bass and drums jazzy pulsation with melancholic reeds over the top. Plus crying electric guitar and even some nu jazz elements - "Magic Tiara Part 1". " .. Part 2" is real jazz fusion, led by guitar, which continues by post-bop piano jazz.

" Nanotechnology" starts with chaotic dissonant sounds, but very soon continues as just guitar led jazz fusion again. Short " Epilogue" is just a signature of all instruments participated on album in a form of chamber and chaotic miniature.

All album is full of soft melancholic melodies, so usual for Polish music. Really nice recording - accessible and clever, tasteful and not boring.
