Seven Day Hunt is an unknown band coming from Holland with one album issued since now named File this dream in 2008. The are formed from the ashes of another dutch band from the late '80 and 90 named Egdon Heath. When Egdon Heath disbanded in 1999 all members from that band minus the drumer formed Seven Day Hunt couple of years later around 2001. Well , what we have here is like a continuation of what Egdon Heath offerered 20 years ago around the Killing silence era. An eclactic side of neo prog with some memorable arrangements some solid musicianship , a good voice all melted with sensitive instrumental passages. The best pieces to me is the opening powerful and colorful track No Plaster Saint - now this is a killer tune , has lots of great parts where the guitars and keyboards and the vocal lines aswell are superb. What is in the middle of the album, I mean the next 2 pieces are only ok, the title track is good and then from track 5 beggins with another great pieces where all works very well and smooth. All in all a fairly decent to great relase by this unknown band, and definatly they need a far more exposure.
