5 stars DUTCH MASTERS is a fantastic compilation of an important and fabulously talented early prog band.

This disc (coupled with the essential HAMBURGER CONCERTO) shows the band at the height of their creative powers, before they delved heavily into jazz.

The album features the signature "Hocus Pocus" in two different versions (the 2nd is even more frantic than the original!), along with other standout tracks like "House of the King," "Sylvia" and "Love Remembered." In fact, there's not a weak song among the lot!

In my opinion the best copilation ever and the best introduction to a band back when the were at the top of their game. You've got classical, jazz and heavy rock influences from their first t ...
