3 stars Polish organist Piotr Figiel is, in my opinion, one of those artists that just barely made it into the Prog Archives. If he had released his albums later than the early seventies, I'm pretty sure he would not be listed here, but in the context of the times, I think he was progressive.

His songs are all structured around his Hammond organ solos, where he plays all around the melodies, like a lesser Keith Emerson. His songwriting, however, is unmemorable. The best of the tracks on this album are the psychedelic jams, where he performs admirably. Unfortunately, too many songs sound to me like the soundtrack from 1960's European films, with light, airy melodies, and ba ba da ba dah vocals.

I guess I'd rate this 2.5 stars. Rounded up.
