Review by Seyo

3 stars The first GURU GURU compilation, "This Is" contains two tracks from "Kan Guru" and three from "Guru Guru" albums. While the selection of tracks can be disputed (like it is always the case with compilation) it is hardly possible to assemble the stronger essence of early GURU GURU freakiness on a single disc. Absence of any track from first two albums is a serious flaw. But, still it is a good collection for an introduction to the unique music of the unique Krautrock band.
