1 stars PIKE 215 - TRACE CANDLE is the 114th album released by BUCKETHEAD in 2015. Still another all instrumental album with BUCKETHEAD handling all instrument duties. This one has only one super long track that clocks in at 28:13 but to be fair in most cases the tracks on these PIKES are arbitrarily split up.

This is another mellow one starting out with extremely slow echoey guitar that plays a little and echoes while taking a break and then plucking a bit more. This is perhaps one of the slowest and mellowest BUCKETHEAD albums yet. It is nothing more than a very slow guitar riff that echoes with a little bit of ambience behind it at times just lollygagging and taking its sweet time going? well, nowhere really.

Ugh. I can't stand this one. Slow, boring, pointless. Yoga music perhaps. It's got meditation retreat written all over it but even then i've heard much better sound swirls that are conducive to that experience. This is perhaps the absolute MOST boring, MOST pointless album i've ever heard especially coming from such a talented musician.

ZERO stars. Wish that were an option
