3 stars This is some high octane Jazz/ Fusion right here folks. A four piece out of Germany who have been compared to another German band 7 FOR 4 but with that band the focus is on the guitar while here it's the keyboards all the way. PLANET X and the like come to mind where we get that modern Jazz/ Fusion sound usually with plenty of synths. The synths here keep me from giving this 4 stars, those high pitched sounds are sprayed all over this album which is a shame because this thing is so impressive otherwise. The guitarist seems to be the leader, the face of the band and he's from his band called ERRORHEAD and it's interesting that after this recording he hired both the bass player and keyboardist here to join ERRORHEAD.

There is so much catchy, bombastic music on here, mostly uptempo with solos galore. Love the bass player and drummer the most but the guitarist certainly is accomplished in the different styles he plays. They have some humour as they interject some spoken word bits here and there. We get a couple of 30 second numbers both sounding like intros to the following songs. My favourite track by far is the closer "Miles Away" for not having the high pitched synths and going old school in a homage to Miles with electric piano dominating with jazzy bass and drums. And it's doesn't feel like I'm being bashed over the head. Anyone into this style of Jazz/ Fusion needs to check this out, it's pretty amazing.
