4 stars Put this together with the other compilation released in 1994, Robert Wyatt's "Going Back A Bit : A Little History Of Robert Wyatt" and you have a great retrospective of Wyatt the musician and innovator. Musically the 3 Cds of the two albums, cover a very broad musical spectrum from the pop to the free jazz. The first track "Slow Walkin' Talk" on "Flotsam & Jetsam" finds Robert Wyatt singing and doing everything BAR the electric bass. Jimi Hendrix supplies this!. When I first heard this track I thought it was Hugh Hopper - so now I'm left wondering if Hugh influenced Hendrix or vice versa???
