Collaborators/Experts Reviews

SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Honorary Collaborator / Band Submissions
4 stars With proper reason one can say that SENDELICA currently marks the peerless Welsh space program, very busy concerning extraterrestial activity, surely cost conscious in comparisn. And now the sensation, they finally could prove the suspicion 'And Man Created God'. Eh, who else? Due to uncounted albums, collaborations and live gigs they are constantly leaving Mother Earth and returning back again, with safety. Furthermore, important to know, SENDELICA would be irrelevant without the presence of Commander Pete Bingham on the navigation bridge. Not everything what they are playing and recording meets my taste. Regularly being the result of compressed weekend sessions, though this time the process took about two years anyhow. In this case they are serving a priceless atmosphere. Even though a regular acoustic drum set is missing. Which means that the beats are electronically generated. Keyboard wizzard Colin Consterdine definitely has a big share here.

You may notice, just a mysterious trademark, at least concerning their bandcamp presence there is a strong obsession to state. Nearly every text is printed in capitals. Takes getting used to. Though not the opening tune AEOLIAN SUNRISE, which offers a wonderful ambient flow plus some percussion alike support. EXODUS FROM UR then follows with some Ozric Tentacles feel. Lee Relfe delivers a smooth saxophone where Bingham's guitar is swirling around like a butterfly. Or what about the chilled flow on DEUTEROSOPHIA or the hypnotic krautish TAINTED GOAT ... SENDELICA is sending us on an extraordinary silky space rock excursion. Very nicely done.
