4 stars Cyclopean Walls is a new progressive metal band on the scene formed in Paris - France in 2019 by Yiannis Tziallas an excellent multi instrumentallist responsable with bass, keyboards and guitars here. They release so far a single album in 2021 named Enter the dreamlands issued by famous and renowned greek label Steel Gallery records. The album is realy a strong progressive metal release with some very tight compositions and some fantastic musicianship. I wonder why they are so unknow in today scene , when they have such a brilliant album. All pieces are well crafted, elaborated compositions, with excellent and inventive playing, they go from progressive metal to progressive rock to epic doom metal with an amazing ease but the result is a cohesive work without question, all musicians involved done an awesome job. Top notch vocals, delivered by Raphael Gazal from american progressive metal band Leviathan, his varations of voice is amazing just check out Festival, Dagon, The rats in the wall, Celephais, just superb. Aswell an instrumental one , The Church of Starry Wisdom, again really inspired and damn well composed piece like whole album.

Well, a recommended release, one of my fav in last years for sure, every track is well thought out, well written and exceptionally played, who doesn't copy anyone, they have their own personality just from the start. 4,5 stars easy, recommended , a very strong and pleasent journey. Go and get it worth every second for sure. The CD contains some first class booklet that is going hand in hand with the music, really intresting drawings, pictures.
