The Black Light biography
A UK rock duo The BLACK LIGHT were founded in 2008 around Swindon. Their roots lay in a Swindon-based trio formed by Martin BASSETT (guitars, bass, keyboards, voices) and Andrew WATT (drums, percussion, keyboards, voices) who met whilst at a college in 1996, gigged locally in mid 2000s, and released self-produced material. They say they've got inspired by some pop / rock giants seasoned with progressive rock essence like Radiohead.

The BLACK LIGHT have released two EPs in 2008 and 2011 respectively and one full-length album titled "All Forgotten Dreams" in 2017. Currently (in 2017) they does not have any gig but keep composing, producing, and recording at studios in Swindon or Southampton.

— First review of this album —
4 stars As a fellow citizen of that great ,historic and interesting town called Swindon I feel quite privileged and honoured to be the first to post a review. It also helps that this is a very decent effort. Very much song based and guitar based you get a meaty 73 minutes for your money. Quite moody and atmospheric and solid but no technical hi jinks but then again this is exactly what you want at times. Andrew Wyatt lays down the solid drum patterns while Andrew Barrett plays various guitars with great proficiency. I love the dual vocals (always have in general) . Probably the most promising debut I've heard for a while and hopefully they can put a full band together soon and get their music out there. 3.5 Stars rounded up to 4.
