Sintonia Distorta biography
Formed in 1995 by Simone PESATORI (vocals) and Favio TAVAZZI (bass). They started doing covers of hard rock and metal bands. In 2007, keyboardist Giampiero MANENTI joined the band which contributes to the evolution of their sound. It's only in 2011, that the band received some positive reviews and attention from Lizard label. Then in 2015, the album ''Fragments d'incanto'' is released. In 2016, Cladio MARCHIORI became the new guitarist. The seond album is released in February 2020 with Fabio Zuffanti as a producer. The second album style gives more space to the Italian 70's prog rock while keeping the heavier style influences of their past.

One of the pleasent surprise was italian prog band named Sintonia Distorta, who managing to release their debut in 2015 named Frammenti d'incanto. Issued at Lizard label, this first release show good potential, nice compositions, musicianship is more then ok and pleasent voice. Te music is symphonic with a touch of heavy prog bordering prog metal, but without being a prog metal band in the end. The atmosphere is typical towards italian school with majestic arrangements, quite leghty in places with romantic and energic passages in same time.

All in all quite good debut, I really like it, and aswell very nice the artwork. Definetly 3.5 stars from my side.
