Love the good combination of strain and relaxation. Another promising Parisian psychic agents ECHO SAYS ECHO were born in 2014 for launching their connative psychedelia and ambience in an intensive manner. Very happy it's been announced that they will release their first full-length album entitled "Pause" on June 24, 2021 via a post-rock / ambient label Fluttery Records. Thanks to Taner (Fluttery Records), I could listen to their pre-released sample via a press kit, and have got quite immersed in their proper instrumental technique and energetic expressive strategy. No wonder they are highly recommended by the label. All in all, they are providing so-called authentic post-rock structure based upon shoegaze repetitive power phrases, not so assertive nor challenging though. Possibly they would launch such a fascinating soundscape also on stage, I easily imagine. They definitely give the audience full enjoyment and pleasure.

First of all, please listen to the first track "After the Bombs, The Silence" in this creation (you can give a listen even before the release). This excellent song should be stuffed full of their 'good combination' above mentioned. The Silence ... we can feel comfortable in tranquil sound repose. After The Bombs ... although I don't know which the bomb is (the nuclear bombs exploded in Japan or the current pandemic situation), it sounds like they say we must get relieved and motivated after such a terrible issue. The single phrase repeated smoothly is sticky but pretty mellow. And yes, their playing gets more and more motivated in the latter phase. This atmosphere should be fit for us to go forward vigorously against the enemy or bad circumstance. Followed by the second vivacious stuff "Our Toxic Surroundings" that involves their fortitude deeply into explosive sound messages. Shouting guitar playing is very impressive and encouraging to the audience.

"Dystopia" is kind of a very suggestive track for us. This one would be merged with our suffering from the current situation and massive resistance and resilience. Even if we are under a tough condition so far, we should not give up nor lose our brilliant future dream ... sounds like they mention that we should "Sitting By The Lake" and cool down to consider wisely and thoughtfully when we are likely to lose our heart, via their deep but delightful sound souvenirs filled with dizzy, fuzzy, freaky but healthy wealthy approaches. The epilogue "Monsters In The Maze" features hard, dessert-y, dry fruity sound component. Monsters, Maze, both are quite tough circumstances indeed, but via their strong intention for defeating badness we must exploit our potential from now on. In this sense they play the last song with intriguing melodic lines and ultimate enthusiasm. They would show "Important is enthusiasm for the future", I'm sure!
