Review by Progfan2113

5 stars Blood Red Sun is a fantastic album that blends prog with hard rock/metal, but is still very accessible. There are some great choruses with some strong melodic hooks that stick with you. The three members of the group have put together a well thought-out concept album, and have executed it very well. In addition to the performances by the guys in the band, Eric Gillette's (Neal Morse Band) drumming is stellar. This is in addition to Gillette's studio production work on the album.

Highlights are Zero One, the first track with vocals that includes a catchy melodic chorus, and Paradigm which has shifting meters, making it the "proggiest" song on the album. The entire album flows together as a single piece of music and will hold your attention. It is highly recommended.

Thanks to rdtprog for the artist addition.
