I think this first work of the multi-national band INSTANT FLIGHT, entitled "Coulors & Light", in spite of being classified in the category - Psychedelic/Space Rock - in Progarchves, approaches more the crossover prog in the style of the British band MOODY BLUES (obviously with a "more modern approach"), actually, just in some rare moments they get to flee of that, and on the other hand, in most of the time the band seems a clone of the band mentioned above, mainly in the phase of disks as "To Our Children's.... ", The Question of Balance " & "Every Good Boys Deserves Favour." However, the disk in itself is quite pleasant of being heard. although doesn't wait great moments of virtuosity, nor vocal nor instrumental. My rate is 3 stars!!!

Do you like heavy Hammond organ? How about psychedelic undertones similar to the 60's and early 70s? Hard guitar riffs with a good mix of instruments such as flute, mellotron and the crazy voice of one-and-only Arthur Brown on the song "Kites".

This is a very well done CD full of great late 60's, early 70's sounding psychedelic prog songs. Tons of Mellotron and Hammond organ. The songs are very well written, full of great melodies and enjoyable lyrics. A very good new prog band!
