Monogono biography
MONOGONO are an amazing progressive metal band from Portugal. At the time of their formation in 2005 the average age of the band members (Renato Sousa-guitars & keyboards,Nuno Carvalho- vocals,Daniel Domingos - bass,Gonšalo Santos - drums)was 21.The members of MONOGONO soon realized that they wanted to be something more than your average garage band and worked on creating their own music, drawing on diverse influences like KING CRIMSON and MESHUGGAH.
In 2007 MONOGONO released their first full-length album "Amuk".MONOGONO plays chaotic yet technical progressive metal with some jazz twists, and are highly recommended to fans of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN,MASTODON,MESHUGGAH and COPROFAGO.
