Xen biography
XEN is a new band with ex ENCHANT Members. Their music just seems perfect in a way with a really modern approach. The band diversifies a lot songs: from heavy guitars to acoustic or clear ones. So, it's definitly an interesting progressive album. Really different from the masses. For ENCHANT fans, this is a MUST have.

4 stars The band Xen is actually some kind of joke because it's actually Enchant, only difference is the lacking of "Benignus" as a keyboardplayer. Still it's a bit different from Enchant and that is in the style of playing. It's more relaxed, almost easy listening at times, but of course recognazible as a kind of Enchant. Another thing they have in common with - and what is distinctive to - Enchant is that there are no poor songs on this album. It's one of the main reasons I like Enchant (and also Xen) because it proves that a band takes themselves seriously and set a high standard for themselves and I think that's admirable.

Only downside on this is that there neither any great highlights where the songs are concerned.

Overall performance is very good though so I think they deserve 4 stars. Recommended (of course) for Enchantfans.

Thanks to ProgLucky for the artist addition. and to NotAProghead for the last updates
