Kadenzza biography
KADENZZA is the solo project of You Oshima from Iwaki/Fukushima, Japan. In the early 90s he started his musical career with his first group BLACK MARIA which split in 1993. You left Tokyo in 1996 spending time in New York and returned in 1998. During this period he studied music and musical programming. At the end of 2002 he wrote four compositions and named the project KADENZZA.

This would be self released as "The Reality in the Phantasmagoric World" in 2002/2003.

In June of 2003, KADENZZA signed on the French label Holy Records who released his first album "Into the Oriental Phantasma."

In September of 2005, he released his second album on Holy Records, "The Second Renaissance."

KADENZZA is a very highly original hybrid of innovation, dubbed by You himself as Asian extreme metal. It contains sophisticated full orchestra, razor edged screaming insane vocals, astral Japanese soprano, solemn church organs, furious blast beats, hyper-speed neo-classical guitars, dancing intellectual piano with complicated rhythms. He also describes it as "Grand symphonic orchestral Kamikaze metal." They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are very highly recommended for the adventurous!
