A Storm of Light biography
US outfit A STORM OF LIGHT was formed in 2007 by founding and core members Josh Graham (guitars, keyboards, vocals) and Domenic Seita (bass, vocals).

Rather than expanding to a full-fledged, permanent band line-up the core members have opted for someting of a revolving door approach to band members, utilizing musicians short term for recording and live purposes. Just recently they have started looking for a permanent drummer though, as they feel that this is needed for the band to evolve forwards.

A Storm of Light issued their debut And We Wept the Black Ocean Within in 2008, released in double LP and CD versions. Promotional concerts was next in line, and following a split release with doom drone duo Nadja A Storm of Light ventured back into the studio to create their sophomore effort, now Joel Hamilton (guitar, percussion) added as a permanent member.

Forgive Us Our Trespasses was released in 2009, and was heralded as a fine and sophisticated production that should interest followers of experimental metal with avant and doom tinges. An extensive promotional tour followed the release of this sophomore effort, spanning well into 2010.
