Inner Quest biography
INNER QUEST was formed in Palermo, Southern Italy, in 2003 by drummer Riccardo BARBIERA, bassist Marcello BUTERA, guitarist Giuseppe DI SPARTI, and Marcello's brother Alberto BUTERA on keyboards. INNER QUEST performed their first concert on 31st March 2003, with female singer Marcella GIUFFRÈ temporarily fronting the band. Dario CAMINITA took over on vocals from 2003 to 2005, but the BUTERA brothers then left, & in January 2006 two of Riccardo's friends, Giuseppe CARRUBBA (keyboards) and Emanuele brothers (bass) replaced them. From then on, INNER QUEST became an instrumental metal band influenced by progressive, thrash, power & classical metal.

In February 2008, INNER QUEST released their first CD titled "Inner Quest EP". In April 2009 they released their first album, "Endless Illusion" on New LM Records. There are some space rock atmospheres and slow tempos within their songs, but the influence of SYMPHONY X and DREAM THEATER are always present. The song titles hint towards the album's concept without the need of lyrics.
