Bat Lenny biography
US band BAT LENNY can trace it's roots back to the mid 70's and a few years of improvisational work done under the moniker of Limpid Green, but this didn't lead to anything substantial until 1983 and the birth of Bat Lenny. From 1983 to 1991 they released cassettes with DIY improvised music before life put the band on hold for a few years, although a collaborative production (Crop Circles) sporting a number of different musicians was released under the Bat Lenny band name in 1994.

Come 1999 and the circumstances were again right for another go as Bat Lenny, kicking off with another cassette release, "Songs From The Belfry", a compilation consisting of remixed material from ages past. A few more years would go by before Bat Lenny decided to make their first official CD release. This one came in the shape of "Fractured Reflections" in 2005, followed by the EP "Shadowland" in 2006. "The Atomic Toybox" from 2009 is the band's most recent effort, Bat Lenny at this stage reduced to a trio. Since then the band appears to have entered a state of hiatus.
