Futurian biography
FUTURIAN is in essence the duo of Austin CHAPPELL and Brennan COOMBS, hailing from Toronto, Canada, formed in late 2012. Both were previously playing guitar in death metal bands but they had no room to experiment with other sounds. Both play guitar and piano extensively and contribute equally in song-writing in FUTURIAN and also play live with drum pads to sync up bass and drum samples, intending to tour with a full band eventually. CHAPPELL does the recording, mixing, mastering, and programming while COOMBS is in charge of the media and promotion. ''Caveman Vs Spaceman'' is their first official EP and ''Coffee Stains'' is a collection of demos which will always be free and updated through-out album sessions, both released in 2013.

FUTURIAN's sound is an interesting mix of instrumental experimental progressive metal with influences from jazz to electronica, while the band cites influences from acts such as DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, DEVIN TOWNSEND, CLOUDIKICKER, PERIPHERY etc.
