EMPHASIS is a female fronted Progressive Metal band formed in 2010 by bassist and guitarist KATYA Gritskova and Pavel KOROTAEV. They released a debut EP Into Infinity in 2012 which led to a mini tour. In 2013, singer Anna GANINA joined the band and gave a more symphonic sound to the music. After releasing some singles, the band signed to the label Underground Symphony and released their album Revival in 2016. The music is a powerful symphonic Progressive Metal with influences from NIGHTWISH and WITHIN TEMPTATION.
