3 stars While Yesterdays's first album, Holdfénykert, was excellent in every respect, and unmistakably prog, their chronologically second (and, apparently, the last) album is a little disappointing.

(They have recently reissued Holdfénykert, but I don't believe it should be considered a separate entity)

I have visited Yesterday's webpage and found that as of 2014 the band have decided to take a "brake" (not sure if it was just a misspelling or was meant to be a pun), citing their inability to carry on supporting the unprofitable enterprise financially "out of pocket", and to fight piracy.

Or, maybe the Holdfénykert they have run out of fresh creative ideas ... or, haven't found enough lovers of prog in Romania and Hungary to do gigs for. Or they decided to make more "accessible" music, and didn't enjoy it enough to continue. Whichever way, it's sad story.

Whether intentionally or not, the Colours Caffe didn't preserve the most important characteristics that made Holdfénykert so good. The vocals are less impressive (they must have replaced their singers), and the music sounds more like pop, albeit an interesting passage and a couple of "exotic" instruments can be heard here and there. All in all, 3 stars by the PA standards.
