Kingsnake
4 stars This is a rather good compilation, spanning the entire career of Saga, taking one track from each album (omitting The Works and Phase One).

By doing this a lot of hitsingles are not present (Heads or Tales, Worlds Apart and Behaviour spawned several hitsingles). Instead of this hit-single-formula, this collection tend to choose the more intricate and progressive tracks. That's why songs like Giant, Heaven Can Wait, On the Air and Book of Lies are included.

By doing so, this is compilation to appeal to new fans. Every aspect of the band is highlighted; the pop/aor side of the band, the neoprog side of the band and the heavy prog-side of the band.

This is absolutely a recommended album for anyone who wants to discover this band. People who already have all the studio-albums will find nothing new and should instead focus on the numerous live-releases of the band.
