4 stars YOOHAAAA.!!! What another excellent live album man.... Yeah, it rocks and it progs! I just got this CD couple months ago after having been informed that this is a good live album and I love live albums. It's no regret at all purchasing this CD because it contains an excellent record of band's performance in their 1997 European Tour. Couple of reasons on why this is an excellent one:

(1). Through this live double album, the band has been successful in creating a "lively" ambient of the show. The band and the audience participated actively during the show. This can be heard in breaks between songs and even during the performance of particular songs. So dynamic!

(2). The band has delivered their music immaculately with practically no major mistake, excellent control over their moods as reaction to the dynamics of the crowd and their respective musical instruments.

(3). Selection of songs are excellent as it contains the band's new materials as well as classic tracks. The mixing of the sounds was done excellently and I especially like that the drum sounds seemed dominant so that Nick Magnus' dynamic play can be heard nicely.

The performance starts with an energetic opening "In The Hall Of The Mountain King William" followed with the performance of all classic tracks until "Wind Him Up" (track 8). Well, I really enjoy these songs played live especially some of them were also performed in other live album "In Transit". I also love the performance of "Ice Nice" - what a great live track plus excellent solos. My all time favorite track "Humble Stance" is performed longer here.

Recommended. Keep on proggin' .!!!!

Yours progressively,

GW
