A KID CALLED SEAN

Melvin's Nosehair - this overlooked band from Holland released only one album in 2010 named A kid named Sean, then vanishid without a trace, no information available about their status so far. Anyway if you like Spock's Beard type of prog, or some symphonic/neo bands from Holland from past decade then sure Melvin's Nosehair will be a nice surprise. There are some nice keyboards and guitars going on retro direction on this long piece - divided in 14 smaller ones clocking around only 35 min. The instrumental parts are more then ok, nothing is spectacular or never heard before arrangements, but as a whole is a good release. Maybe in some sections the vocals are only ok and nothing more. All in all a decent album, worth investigated, but I do not find the excellent moments as other listners found on this unnoticed album.
