4 stars Jupiter is the second studio album recorded by CAVE IN and it is a great album. CAVE IN started as a metalcore band with their debut album Until Your Heart Stops but on Jupiter they played a progressive rock and space rock style. Jupiter is very atmospheric and it has great instrumental parts. Unlike the previous record the vocals are mostly sung with the only screamed vocals being on the song Big Riff. The opening track Jupiter and Requiem are my favorites on the album with the former being catchy and short and the later being the longest track on the record. I love CAVE IN and I enjoy all of their material. Want some good progressive rock that's not too fancy? Or maybe you want nice atmospheric space rock? Either way, the record is great in both aspects. Highly recommended.
