4 stars Here a true classic of early 70 psych folk, strong synthesis of classical/chamber music and folk/psych folk elements, every track a winner. They were prolific but could not manage to bring further output for sale then, therefore a good deal of the early material got official releases only later, in the last 20 years or so. The music of the 71 album sounds still fresh and stood the test of time very well. Managing to bring in a very original style and approach results in succeeding the album to be qualitywise on par with and simultaneously much distinguishable from other masterpieces of their era with mostly small recording output such as Comus, Marsupilami, COB, Spirogyra, Spriguns, Forest, Trees, Dr. Strangely Strange, Mellow Candle omitting well reputed loner musicians, non UK masterwork, late 70, 80 + productions and the odd more or less rare privately released gems... 4 and a half stars really
