4 stars Peter M.'s Underworld Dreams has been one of my favorite albums over the past few months and generally suits whatever mood I'm in, which may seem weird to most people considering what this music consists of. The music here is remarkably bleak and noisy, reminding me of a more electronic sounding Lustmord. Constant drones and arrhythmic pulses make up the flow of this album, and across the buzzing are slightly harsher buzzing noises. The sounds present here would seem like a turn-off to most people, but this is all highly atmospheric and actually sounds like the "music" made by the magnetic fields pulsing off of the planets in our solar system, which is something that I've always found drawing me towards this kind of experimental electronic music. Though not dancy at all, this music is often bass heavy.

I'd recommend this to anyone interested in experimental electronic music of the noisier sort. Anyone a fan of Merzbow's super noisy style would probably find much to enjoy here, although this isn't nearly as harsh by Merzbow's standards. Also, if you've ever played any of the Metroid games, this mostly sounds like soundtrack rejections. Very atmospheric, enjoyable, and highly recommended for anyone who hates knowing of their own existing sanity.
