3 stars The best of Pink Floyd has been done before with the excellent "Echoes" compilation and so I am not sure who this album is aimed for. Certainly there are perhaps a few people who would be newcomers to Floyd but surely they could go back to the other plethora of backlog compilations rather than grab this expensive album. The packaging is admittedly high quality, with booklet and illustrations that are exclusive to this set. The songs are all brilliant naturally being the best of Pink Floyd.

This compilation is of course a tie in with the recent remastered Pink Floyd Immersion sets and Discovery Box Set. There is nothing new on this album though it is a different track listing than previous compilations.

I can rate this 3 stars at least due to the packaging and simply because Pink Floyd deserve to be heard and perhaps this album may draw newcomers into the brilliant Pink Floyd universe. Maybe after hearing this album listeners may be interested in grabbing the true masterpieces that have made this band one of the most successful and well known bands on the planet.
