3 stars I have to admit I feel like Bambi on ice when trying to describe this album.

I interviewed this band last week and the interview was good. It seems like the band went to Greenland in hunt for penguins and missed penguins by 10 000 miles or so. That pretty much describe this music too which is a mad collection of chamber orchestra RIO pieces intertwined by some strange male choirs and female vocals. Total mental asylum in my ears.

...... but their music actually work. The music is very pastoral at times and very cleverly put together. There are some piano pieces here which is very clever in their own right. The male vocals is a bit disturbing mental, but they too works. This album is very much in the Euro avant-garde theatrical tradition and very French. French as in the same tradition as Jaques Brel and Ange too.

This album is actually a good music experience. The sound is good too. I would not label this a great album, but it works fine and I like it. It is a good album.

3 stars
