THE WALL

Necessary to call yourself a fan of prog, just because of its historical importance. However, most of us here know that this is not their greatest work, and really sub par when compared to other PF works like WYWH and Dark Side. Comfortably Numb is a great song, but it certainly can't carry the whole album. The work is never really able to stand on its own two feet. Much of it feels out of place and is not very inspiring or interesting. Nevertheless, it's necessary to have because it's still a Pink Floyd album.
