5 stars Very different from the previous album little man, which I found a bit too unhappy and unenergetic to enjoy. The Instrumental West Winds is for me the highlight, but I really enjoyed the whole album. My only complaint with this band is the lack of singing in the longest song- It could have done with being broken up a bit, 27 minutes is a bit tough to handle, even for a prog fan. Overall it is a great album, it feels to me this is how radiohead should have ended up, as opposed to their new style (which i don't care for). A definite improvement on their style, they are no longer as downbeat or repititous as on previous albums, I advise it to any fans of Kid A/ Hail to the thief (especially the song Well I think thats what you said, definete HTTT style) radiohead, Porcupine Tree, or good electronic/ guitary music in general. 4.5 stars
