ANGLING FEELINGS

The best of the later Kaipa albums? I think so, largely because of the new guitarist Per Nilsson whose playing is superb, with a jazzy feel sometimes reminiscent of Allan Holdsworth in smoothness of flow. There are also tracks with a folky feel by the addition of flutes and whistles. I took a long time to learn to like the vocalists but I've acquired that taste at last. This is fine symphonic rock with a relaxed feel and lots of melody.
