4 stars The fact that this is one of the worst rated among the floyd albums in this site is something I really can't understand. "More", despite being a soundtrack and therefore slightly ignored (and that's not fair at all!!!), is clearly not inferior to any of the other early floydian outputs. And that of course means it's a great album!

I think this is the first album in which pink floyd almost drops almost completely their psychedelic influences (although those will partially return in a couple more albums). And on the other side, it's not really prog yet. So what we have here is the band trying different things, but as always preserving their identity. And the result is an album that flows really well, having such variety as a proto-metal song ("The Nile Song") or even a very little hispanic theme ("A Spanish Piece")!

An excellent musical experience, definetely deserving 4 stars.
