SOMETHING MAGIC

I make it very short this time. Something Magic is, I think, one of the least inspired Harums (for example Grand Hotel and Exotic Birds and Fruit are much stronger). The sound is quite clear but the songs are dull. Title track and slow ballad 'Strangers in Space' have some value though. And Brooker's distinctive voice works well on this album. The "epic" of the B- side must be THE most boring epic I've ever heard, a stupid story of a worm that grows and grows. Even if Brooker sang it instead of speaking, it would be boring. The three 4- star reviews are equally justified as personal opinions, but I can't help: an extremely useless work to me.
