5 stars Guilty Pleasure.

I was listening to this while working out and felt inpired to share a recommendation.

I recommend this for a prog fan who does not have the urge or desire to invest largly in this group but can appreciate the essence of what Alan Parson's Project was as both a prog-related and commercial pop/rock act. This is a good listen from start to finish with good production and sound. The variety of vocalists add an element of variety from song to song and they are all excellent vocal performances. The compositions are all good, I can listen to them repeatedly and enjoy somethinbg different about them each time, when in the right mood.

Special recommendation for Procol Harum/Gary Brooker fans. His vocal performance here on "Limelight" is particularly sublime.

I think Alan parson's has had a unique and significant role in progressive rock and this album captures that perfectly. As such, what the hay: it is an essential prog masterpiece if any compilation album can be such.
