1 stars What exactly is the meaning of this?

I still can't figure out what exactly this compilation represents. Here is another best of (from a different company that produced 'Greatest Hits' in 2000) that does not really add anything to someone's discography. I will drop a few lines as there is no need to waste more time on this compilation.

Facts: 8 out of the 12 songs in this collection also appeared in the 'Greatest Hits'!!! The total running time is 54 min. Some albums are represented with just 1 song (EP, Warning, Rage for Order!!!) whereas 'Empire', as the most commercial release, is represented with 3... 2 tracks appear from 'Hear in the Now Frontier', widely regarded as the band's weakest release...

Personal view: Probably, the people who compiled this album did not spend more than one hour thinking of what to include. The selection of tracks is almost identical with a previous 'best of' release, with a shocking short time for a compilation disc... Apart from that, only 'hit' tracks were chosen with HUGE omissions from the band's best albums. In terms of music, the first ten tracks are at least very good, but this is not the point for a compilation disc.

I don't feel that there is something more to add for this 'album', not even about the music. If you have never listened to Queensryche, this is not the right album to start. Even if you are looking for a compilation, check the 'Greatest Hits' and see the reviews on this site.

Overall, MUSIC: 3 to 4 stars, SELECTION OF TRACKS: 1 star. Being a fan of the band, I can't accept this 'making money' effort. I apologise.
