PROG REVIEWER
2 stars Why does this release exist? The tracklist is hardly the same as on "Brighton - March 25th 1986". Again, excellent sound quality, not the same quality for the music. The material contains extracts from albums Exit (with its weakest track, "Pilots Of Purple Twilight"), Le Parc, Underwater Sunlight, from soundtracks of the same period and a few unreleased compositions. It is identical to the first set of the two-concerts box Vault IV, without overdubs.

Except most already released tracks, this live presents very few interesting moments. "Akash Deep", "Beneath The Waves" and "Coloured Rain" are rather flat new-age-ish tracks. "Stratosfear 86" is terrible, the 1995 version on "Tyranny of Beauty" is much more convincing. Only enjoyable novelties here are "Legend Leftover" and the soft "The Velvet Garden".

For people interested by the set-list, I'll rather advice "Brighton - March 25th 1986" which has (a little) more originality with equal sound quality.
