3 stars Barrdo is offering an unexpected treat barely 5 months after the release of a double album. For some unknown reason, they have decided to re-record two pieces from "Équivoques vol. 1" and to radically change the style. The musicians are the same as on the original recordings, except for the drummer (again, we don't know why).

"Jamais (prise 2)" (4/5) is nice. We move away from PINK FLOYD and get closer to WILLIE NELSON. The melody remains touching. Amusingly, they kept the measures in 7/8 in the chorus. The guitar solo is fine. The modulations are numerous. The finale is... typical!

"Cette nuit (prise 2)" (3/5) is a bit less in my taste. I preferred the soaring atmosphere of the original version. Here, we are dealing with a slow and rather noisy alternative rock. However, the quasi-punk finale gives some energy back.

The mere fact that Barrdo is still experimenting is reassuring.
